KMOC Shore Base Infrastructure KMOC ‘Shore Base’ provides Support Services for Offshore Drilling & Exploration / Completion Activities to various Clients like ONGC Ltd, OIL, and Vedanta Cairn Etc., either Directly or through various Oil Field Companies like Schlumberger, Halliburton, Baker Hughes (GE) etc.

• ‘Shore Base’ essentially consists of Jetty for berthing Offshore Supply Vessels, Crane & Trained Manpower for Stevedoring of Oil Field Material, Bulk Plant & Liquid Mud Plant for Preparation & Pumping of Bulks required for Offshore Activities, Tubular Storage Yard & Ware Houses with Trained Manpower for Storage / Preliminary Inspection (Visual Thread Inspection, Drifting of Oil Field Tubulars) / Preliminary Maintenance of Oil Field Tubulars / Material Transactions / Inventory Tracking. Also, Material Handling Equipment (like Cranes, Fork Lifts & 40’ Trailer) for Handling, Transportation of Oil Field Material & Cargo Carrying Units (CCUs), Steel Wire Rope Slings for Stuffing & Safe ferrying of Material to & fro Offshore Locations.
• Associated Services include; Port Call Services (Berthing & Sailing of Offshore Supply Vessels), Customs & Port Permissions for Movement of Oil Field Material / Personnel to & fro Port.
• Carrying Out ‘Hazard Risk Analysis’ & then Conducting ‘Tool Box Talk’ prior to Commencement of any ‘Material Handling’ Activity.
• Material & Logistics Coordination: Coordinating with Rig, Vessels, ONGC, Client Company, Oil Field Service Companies/ Product Lines, Vendors for Day to Day Shoe Base Activities involved in Material & Logistic Support to Offshore Rigs.
• Material Management & Inventory :
• Tracking & Recording Material Transactions in Focus (ERP Software).
• Provide Weekly Inventory to Client
• Perform Monthly Perpetual Inventory Verification & Communicate Inventory Exceptions to Client.
• Assist Client in resolving any Identified Discrepancy in Inventory.
